As part of our commitment to Biodiesel we offer guest speaking services. If you need more personal biodiesel education consider registering for one of our periodic beginer biodiesel homebrew workshops. Workshops are held at teh 723 N. Drennan location. We'll teach you how to produce your own biodiesel for about a $1.50 a gallon.

NO, you do NOT have to convert your vehicle to burn biodiesel. Just pour biodiesel in your tank and drive. There is nothing to do but pump and go.
Yes, it will mix with petrol diesel in any percentage.
Yes, we are more expensive right now.

Rapeseed oil is a primary source of raw oil feedstock in Europe for biodiesel production. Rapeseed oil produces 1000 KG oil/Hectare compared to soybean of 375 KG oil/hectare. Oil Palm produces the most at a huge 5000 KG/Hectare.

Homebrewers:

GOT USED WASTE VEGETABLE OIL?
Houston Biodiesel will happily accept used fryer oil and expired virgin oil donations for use in our biodiesel workshops. Restaurants please email or call us to setup your oil collection. Your used fryer oil will be used in a classroom or turned into biodiesel for use here in Houston.

GLYCERIN DISPOSAL
Houston Biodiesel now offers collection of your unwanted used homebrew glycerin. Disposal fee is $0.20/gal. Just bring your glycerin to the shop in small 5 gallon jugs and pour it into our disposal tote. We feel that if we teach you how to make biodiesel then we can certainly manage the waste.
